What's cookin', good lookin'?

This is my absolute favorite, and I'm pretty sure it was the first vintage apron I purchased!
The hand embroidered flowers are just gorgeous. I've been too afraid to actually wear it while cooking!

Second favorite has to be this beaut. Hand made in the 1940's, it's age shows.
There's a tiny hole in the pocket. :(

My most recent addition, this "what's cooking" apron was too cute to pass up at the low low price of $1.oo!!
Oliver decided to join in on the photo shoot fun...

...He's a little devil.
(and is getting his manhood taken away in the morning! hooray for fixed kitties! )

I found this hand made apron in an antique shop a few months ago.
How cute is the embroidery pattern?!

This one was a gift from a friend. She knows me too well! This one is more modern and less delicate, so I don't feel so bad wearing it while cooking up a storm.

I'm getting really excited for my weekend mini road trip to New Hampshire! I can't wait to be in the mountains with my favorite lady friend, and I'm hoping that there's lots of snow on the ground. This is going to be a much needed vacation from philadelphia and from the stress of the daily grind. I had to make an emergency vet appointment for Oliver since out of no where, he decided to start spraying all over the apartment. He's almost two years old and has never done it before. I'm not sure what brought on this un-welcomed change in him. Luckily, the vet's office had an appointment available for tomorrow morning.
I've been trying really hard to get to the gym at least 4 times a week, but with these headaches, it's been hard. The last thing I feel like doing when I hate a migraine is running for 45 minutes. OH! But apparently, my hard work paid off because when I weighed myself today at work, I saw that I had lost 8lbs. Whoo! Only about...30 more to go! ;)
