Today has been pretty great. Mike and I woke up early and did a little house cleaning before Francine and Michelle came by. The four of us ventured downtown to partake in some Christmas festivities. We drank Caramel Brulee lattes and watched the light show at Macy's. I can remember taking the train into center city every year with my family to see the light show and to walk through the Charles Dickens Village (which we also did today.) We spent some time walking around city hall and taking photos in front of the tree at Love park.
Now I'm at home, drinking a delicious cup of ruby red chai tea. Tomorrow is going to be a day filled with thrift shopping and, I'm sure, more caramel brulee lattes. Tis the teason.
