Hello, I'm in Delaware

Mike and I just returned home from a weekend trip to Delaware to see his parents. ( Mike's parents live in the cutest little town near the beach!) Unfortunately, I had a raging migraine that began friday morning and landed me in the emergency room by saturday night. After a glorious medical cocktail, I was able to sleep it off and woke up this morning feeling like a new (wo)man. We did some outlet shopping where I picked up some yankee candles for 10 bucks, and hit up some local thrift shops from which I snagged a few little trinkets.

Other than my emergency room ordeal, the weekend has been a good one and I'm sad to see it go. Getting up on mondays is always terrible for me. I'm usually cozied up to my man in our big fluffy bed, and we usually have a cat or two (or three) snuggled up between us. Climbing out of that bed and onto the cold hardwood floor is absolutely...well...just plain crappy. I do hope this week goes by quickly since I'm planning on taking a little road trip to see my best friend up in New Hampshire this weekend! Is if friday yet??

ps: Totally convinced Mike to help me with my next photo post. I'm going to model my vintage apron collection. :) Yay!
